sewer main and making necessary connections to all existing laterals,
:heretofore duly given, sealed proposals and bids thereof were duly
received and, at the time and place set for such purpose, duly
Opened and it appearing that.the lowest aegular and responsible
bidder is Edwin L. Barkley, an 9nav dual; and
WHEREAS, there has been duly Vrwaented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Belch, a certain agreement dated April 13, I
by and between said Edwin L. Barkley and the City of Newport Beach,
providing for said installing of 946 lineal feet of 10" diameter
vitrified clay sanitary sewer maill;
SNOW, THORK11r., U IT RESOLVED* that said bid of said
Bdwin L. Barkley for said 946 lineal feet of 10" diameter vitrified
clay sanitary sewer main and necessary connections to all existing;
laterals at $14.90 per lineal foot be, and the same is hereby
to Edwin L. Barkley; and
BZ IT FURTHSR USOLVED, that the Mayor and City Cleric be
and they are - hereby authorized and instructed to execute said Agree-
ment in the name of and for and on behalf of the City of Newport
Beach, and that the City Cleric furnish €h duly executed copy thereof
to said 4ddwin L. Barkley.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day of April, 1 35,
by trio following vote, to wit:

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the
records of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained
in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 4321 was duly
and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, California, at a
regular meeting of said City Council held at the regular
meeting place thereof, on the 18th day of April ,
1955 , by the following vote, to wit:
