RESOLUTION NO. 4367
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING WORK TO BE
DONE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE CITY ENGINEER
INSTEAD OF THE SUPERINTENTENDENT OF STREETS, AND
DIRECTING THAT THE ASSESSMENT THEREAFTER BE MADE
AND SIGNED BY THE CITY ENGINEER INSTEAD OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS, IN THE MATTER OF THE
INSTALLATION OF SANITARY SEWERS IN CLIFF DRIVE
AND OTHER STREETS AND RIGHTS OF WAY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the work contemplated under Resolution
of Intention No. 4355 for the installation of sanitary
sewers in Cliff Drive and other streets and rights of way, be
and the same is hereby ordered to be done under the direction
of the City Engineer and the materials used shall comply with
the specifications and be to the satisfaction of said City Engin
eer instead of the Superintendent of Streets, and directing that
the contract to be entered into for said improvement shall con-
tain a provision to this effect.
SECTION 2. And further ordering and directing that the
assessment to be made in the said proceedings shall be made and
signed by the City Engineer instead of the Superintendent of
Streets.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 22d day of August, 1955.
