RESOLUTION No.
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Contract
dated July 15, 1955, between the City of Newport Beach and
Union Oil Company of California, covering the sale of crude
petroleum oil by the City of Newport Beach to said Union oil
Company of California; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of
the citizens of the City of Newport Beach that said Contract
be entered into;
PLOW, THERMRE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said Contract in behalf of the City.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 22nd day
of August, 1955, by the following vote, to wit.

Council of the City of Newport Beach, California, at a
regular meeting of said City Council held at the regular
meeting place thereof, on the 22d day of August
