WHEREAS, the City Manager has filed his resignation
with the City Council of Newport Beach; and the said City
Council has accepted his resignation; and
WIJERTst-1S, the City Charter provides that the City
Council may appoint a City Manager pro tempore;
NOW, TTHEREMWE, BE IT RESQLM by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the City Engineer, Bert Idebb,
is hereby appointed City Manager pro tempore to act as City
Manager from February 27, 1956 and until the appointment by
the City Council of a City Manager,* and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager pro
tempore shall receive a salary of $913.00 per month during the
time he serves as City Manager pro tempore, commencing on
February 27, 1956.
The above and foregoing Resolution No.JZ±Z.1
0 was duly
and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, at a regular meeting thereof, held on
the day of March, 1956, by the following roll call vote,
to wit:
