A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF N.1PORT BEACH ACCEPTING THE

PROPOSAL OF JAMES M. MONTGOMERY TO
FURNISH ENGINEERING SERVICES

WHEREAS, James M. Montgomery under date of January 23,
6
1959, made a proposal to furnish engineering services to the City
7
of Newport Beach in connection with the design of a hydro- pneumati
8
pumping station to serve a portion of the Corona Highlands area,
9
in which proposal it was provided that the estimated total cost of
10
the project, including engineering and surveying, would not exceed
11
$18,000, and the total engineering fee would not exceed $1,800;
12
and
13
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of the
14
City of Newport Beach to accept the proposal of James M. Mont-
1511 gomery;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the

17 City of Newport Beach that the proposal of James M. Montgomery
18 dated January 23, 1959, to furnish said engineering services be
19 accepted, and the Mayor and City Clerk be and are authorized and
20 1 directed to sign said proposal on behalf of the City of Newport
21 II Beach.
