A RESOLUTION On THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NE11PORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
A QUITCLAIM DEED
5 14IMEAS, under date of May It 1945, Gerald U1, Ritchie
6 and Beulah B. Ritchie conveyed to the City of Newport Beach by
7 Grant Deed a certain easement hereinafter described; and
8 WHEREAS, the sewer line in said easement was abandoned
9 and the City no longer has any need for the easement in which the
10 old line was constructed;
11 N9,1, THEREFOFj3, BE IT RESOLVE--D that the Mayor and the
12 City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute a
13 quitclaim deed in favor of Gerald W. Ritchie and Beulah B. Ritchie,
14 husband and wife, as ,joint tenants with the right of survivorship,
15 quitclaiming the City's interest in the following- described real
16 property:
17 A right of way or easement for the purpose of the
erection, laying and construction of a pipe line or pipe
18 lines to convey sewage, together with manholes and appur-
tenances, with the right of going in, under and over the
19 premises hereinafter described for the purpose of repair-
ing, maintenance, and replacement of said pipe lines, man-
20 holes and appurtenances, in, over and under that certain
real property described as follows, to -wit:

A parcel of land six (6) feet in width lying three
22 (3) feet on each side of and adjacent to the following
deseyribed center line:

Beginning at a point in a Northeasterly line of Lot
24 20, Block 331, as shown upon a map of Corona Del Mar,
recorded in Book 3, Pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps,
25 Records of Orange County, California; which point is
37.08 feet Southeasterly from the most Northerly corner
26 of said Lot 20, running thence North 86® lit 40° West
107.90 feet to an intersection with the Northwesterly line
27 of Carnation Avenue vacated by Ordinance 297 of the City
of Newport Beach, recorded in Book 1099, Page 237 of
28 Official Records of Orange County. Said point of inter-
section being 63.71 feet Southwesterly of Northeasterly
29 corner of Block 330 as shown upon said map of Corona Del

311 situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this
resolution be transmitted along with said quitclaim deed to
Gerald 11. Ritchie and Beulah B. Ritchie.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 9th day of
February, 1959, by the following vote, to grit:

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and waintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 4927 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 9th day of February 9 X959, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Hart, Lorenz, Somers, Kingsley,
Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard
