A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF N'04TPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN BAYSIDE
DRIVE FROM CENTERLINE OF AVOCADO AVENUE -
PRODUCED TO MARINE AVENUE
1AMEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of the construction of street improvements in Bayside
Drive from Centerline of Avocado Avenue - Produced to Marine
Avenue, in the City of Newport Beach, California, in accordance
with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were
received on the 20th day of March, 1959, and publicly opened and
declared; and
79HEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
for such construction work is Sully - Miller Contracting Co.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Sully-
Miller Contracting Co. in the amount of $14,975.37 be accepted
and that the contract for the construction work be awarded to said
Sully- Miller Contracting Co.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish an
executed copy to the successful bidder.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 23rd day of
March, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolutio No. 4950 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 23d day of March f 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Hart, Lorenz, Somers, Kingsley,
Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard
