RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT.FOR EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS ALLOCATED UNDER SECTION 2107.5 OF THE
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE .
WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented
to be entered into with the State of California in accordance with
a project statement submitted by the City of Newport Beach for
expenditure of the engineering allocation to cities for the fiscal
year 1959 -60, and
WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said agreement
in full and is familiar with the contents thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the City
of Newport Beach that said project statement be and it is hereby
adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of the engineering
allocation to cities, and said agreement be and the same is hereby
approved and the mayor and the city clerk are directed to sign the
same on behalf of said city, said agreement to be binding upon the
city upon its execution by the authorized officials of the State.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly passed by the city council of the City of Newport
Beach at a regular meeting thereof held April 271 1959.

of the City of Newport Beach filed and waintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 4981 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 27t_ day of April 1959, by the following
vote, to wits
