RESOLUTION NO. 4991
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 4966

WHEREAS, on April 13, 1959, the Council adopted Resolu-
tion No. 4966, being a resolution of intention of the City Council
to amend Sections 9103.34 and 9107.28 of the Newport Beach Munici-
pal Code; and
WHEREAS, it now appears that the adoption of said Resolu
tion No. 4966 may have an adverse effect upon the development of
property in the City from the standpoint of financing; and
WHEREAS, it was not the intention of the City Council to
cause any such result;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 4966
be rescinded.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 11th day of May,
1959, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Somers, Kingsley,
Atkinson, Higbie
NOES COUNCILMEN: Hart Lorenz Stoddard
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and waintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 4991 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 11th day of May , 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Somers, Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie
NOES, COUNCILMEN: Hart, Lorenz, Stoddard
ABSEN.TV COUNCILMEN: None
