• 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
• 3 AGREEMENT BETWEEN IRVING C. JORDAN, INC., A
CORPORATION, AND THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH FOR
4 THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN.TRACT NO.
2758

UIHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
7
the City of Newport Beach an agreement wherein Irving C. Jordan,
8
Inc., a corporation, subdivider of Tract No. 2758, agrees to
9
construct street and other public improvements within and such as
10
are necessary to serve said subdivision, to wit: water lines, sewe
11
system, underground utilities, grading, street and alley lighting
12
system, installation of base material, asphalt plant mix and prime
13
coat in future alley, sidewalks, street trees and any other improve
14
ments necessary to serve said subdivision as approved by the City
15
Engineer; and
16
Ir[HEREAS, said agreement provides that Irving C. Jordan,
17
Inc., shall file with the City of Newport Beach a surety bond to
18
assure faithful performance of said agreement;
19
NOM, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement be-
20
tween Irving C. Jordan, Inc., and the City of Newport Beach in
21

which Irving C. Jordan, Inc., agrees to construct the improvements
22
in Tract No. 2758 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are
23
hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the
24
City of Newport Beach at such time as Irving C. Jordan, Inc., files
25
with the City said surety bond and said bond is approved by the
26
City Manager as to sufficiency and the City Attorney as to form.

This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
28
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 25th day of May,

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and waintained in my office,
the foregoing R esolution No. 5018 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 25th day of May , 1959, by the following
