• 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
• 3 AND SUBMISSION TO THE ORANGE COUNTY BOUNDARY
COMMISSION OF A PROPOSAL FOR DETERMINING THE
4 DEFINITENESS AND CERTAINTY OF THE BOUNDARIES
OF THE.FIRST ADDITION TO ACACIA STREET ANNEX

611 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
7 has heretofore considered the annexation of real property herein
811 referred to as the "First Addition to Acacia Street Annex ", which
9 is hereinafter described; and
10 WHEREAS, said real property is in unincorporated terri-
11 tory and situated in the County of Orange, State of California;
12 II and
13 WHEREAS, the said real property is uninhabited and
14 contiguous to the City of Newport Beach within the meaning of the
15 Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939; and
16 WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of the

owner of
said
real
property
and for the
citizens
of
the
City
of

Newport
Beach
that
said real
property be
annexed
to
the
City
of
19 I Newport Beach;
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
21 the City of Newport Beach file a proposal and map with the Secretar
22 of the County Boundary Commission of Orange County, State of Cali-
23 fornia, in accordance with the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory
24 Act of 1939; that the proposal request said Boundary Commission to
25J determine the definiteness and certainty of the boundaries and oth
26 J1 matters affecting the proposed boundaries of the real property
27 referred to as the "First Addition to Acacia Street Annex" and whi
28 is described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof
• 29 as though set out in full herein; and
30 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of
31 the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby, authorized to
32 execute said proposal on behalf of the City of Newport Beach and

that the City Clerk verify and file same in accordance herewith.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 22nd day of
June, 1959, by the following vote, to wit: n n

the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
