. 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SCHEDULE "A" ADOPTED BY
3 RESOLUTION NO. 5034 RELATING TO CLASSIFICATION
. AND COMPENSATION

5 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5034 was adopted pursuant to
6 Section 2200 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code and adopted
7 Schedules "A ", "B" and "C" setting forth the classification and
8 compensation plan of the City; and
9 Z�JHEREAS, it is necessary to adjust the salary range of
10 the class of Assistant City Attorney as established in said
11 Schedule "AP1 in order to recruit candidates for the single posi-
12 tion in said class;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective July 13,
14 1959, Schedule "A" adopted by Resolution No. 5034 is amended by
15 removing the title "Assistant City Attorney" from salary range
16 No. 36 and placing said title within salary range No. 39.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as specifically
l8 changed, the provisions of Schedule "A" and Resolution No. 5034
19 shall continue in full force and effect.

the foregoing Resolution No. 5058 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 13th day of duly , 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
