RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACHr CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A MAP
SHOWING THE GENERAL NATURE, LOCATION AND EXTENT
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF NEPTUNE AVENUE AND
OTHER STREETS, AND THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICT
TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENT
That the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Plan No. 444 showing the general nature,
location and eaten
and other streets,
be assessed to pay
as "Plan No. 444 ",
is hereby approved
t of
and
the
subs
and
the proposed improvement of Neptune Avenue
the boundaries of the district and lands to
costs of the said improvement, designated
pitted by the City Engineer, be, and the same
adopted.
SECTION 2. That said plan shall be filed in the office
of the City Clerk.

approved and adopted by said City Council, approved
and signed by the Mayor, and attested by the City
Clerk, all at a regular meeting of said
City Council held on the 27th day of July

(dj The statute under which it is proposed to conduct
proceedings is the "Improvement Act of 1911 ", being Division 7
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
with improvement Bonds to be issued as authorized under the
provisions of said Act.
SECTION 2. That LAWRENCE J. THOMPSON, a competent person
heretofore employed by this Council for the purpose of preparing a
report,- is hereby required to procure all necessary information to
prepare a report of the proposed improvement in the manner and
form provided for in Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Codet
that said report shall, as a part thereof, contain a copy of
this resolution.
