• 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT

4 WHEREAS, Dike and Colegrove, a partnership, has executed
5 a grant deed to the City of Newport Beach dated August 18, 1959s
6 conveying an easement to construct, operate and maintain an under-
7 ground conduit and appurtenances to operate a street lighting
8 system in, over and under that certain real property in the City
9 of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described
10 as follows, to wit:
11 The southeasterly six 6 feet of Lot No. 5;
the southeasterly six �6� feet of Lot No. 6; and
12 the northeasterly four (4) feet of Lot No. 7 in
Tract No. 3379, as per map recorded in Book 117,
13 page 23, of Miscellaneous Maps, in the County
Recorders office of Orange County, California;

16 WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
17 said grant deed for such purposes.;
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of ti
19 City of Newport Beach that said grant deed be accepted and the
20 City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach a
21 certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
22 grant deed in the County Recorder's office.
23 This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
24 City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 24th day of
25 August, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
26 AYES, COUNCILMEN: "Kingsley, Atkinson,
27 Higbie, Stoddard; Hart, Lorenz, Somers
28 NOES, COUNCILMEN: None

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5085 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 24th day of August $ 19599 by the following
vote, to Witt

Hart, Lorenz, Somers .
