2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING THE DESTRUCTION
3 OF CERTAIN RECORDS

5 W[IEREAS, there are certain records, documents, instru-
6 ments, books and papers in the City Clerk's office which are more
7 than five years old and are no longer required for any City busi
8 ness; and
9 WHEREAS, Section 34090 of the Government Code provides
10 that such records may be destroyed with the approval of the

legislative body;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk is
hereby authorized to destroy and the City Council approves of the
destruction of the records itemized and described in Exhibit `0A"
attached hereto, said exhibit consisting of mimeographed pages
numbered 1 through 4.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 28th day of
September, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
