RESOLUTION N0. 5131
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH. AMENDING THE MASTER
STREET AND HIGHFIAY PLAN
WHEREAS, S, the Planning Commission of the City of Newport
Beach has recommended an amendment of the Easter Street and Highwa
Plan of the Master Plan of the City of Newport Beach, as shown on
Drawing No. 74 -2360 dated October 20, 1959, prepared by the Public
I.-Yorks Director; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after notice as required by
law, has held a hearing on said proposed amendment; and
17H&REAS, the City Council has determined that it is
desirable to amend such Master Street and Highway Plan by the
deletion therefrom of Lancaster Street as a secondary street, as
shown on said Drawing No. 74- 2860;
NC:72 TaZR :FCRZ. BE IT RESOLVED that Lancaster Street be
deleted as a secondary street from the Master Street and Highway
Plan of the Master Plan of the City of Newport Beach, as said
deletion is shown on Draining No. 74 -2860 dated October 20, 1959,
prepared by and on file in the office of the Public Works Director.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to sign said Drawing No. 74 »2860 to show
that it has been adopted by the City Council, and that the same be
placed on file with the Master Plan of the City of Newport Beach.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 14th day of
December, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson,
Higbie, Stoddard, Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5131 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 14th day of December 19 59 , by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN• Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard,
Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
