A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SCHEDULE fYA" ADOPTED BY

RESOLUTION NO..5034.AND AMENDED BY.RESOLUTIONS

NOS.-5058, 5157, 5161 AND 5166.RELATING.TO.

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5034 was adopted pursuant to
7
Section 2200 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code and adopted
8
Schedules "AP9 84B" and P9C" setting forth the classification and
9
compensation plan of the City; and
10
AREAS, Schedule 'A40 was amended by Resolutions Nos.
11
50502 5157, 5161 and 5166; and
12
AREAS, it is necessary to further amend Schedule P8A"
13
by adding the class of Park Attendant at hourly salary rates
14
ranging from $1.50 to $2.00 and the class of Park Supervisor at
15
the hourly salary rate of $2.50;
16
NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective March 14,
17
1960, Schedule °'AP4 adopted by Resolution No. 5034 and amended by
18
Resolutions Nos. 5058, 5157, 5161 and 5166 is further amended by
19
adding the class of Park Attendant at hourly salary rates ranging
20
from $1.50 to $2.00 and the class of Park Supervisor at the hourly
21
salary rate of $2.50.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as specifically
23
changed, the provisions of Schedule H9A46 as adopted by Resolution
24
No. 5034 and amended by Resolutions Nos. 5058, 51572 5161 and 5166
25
shall continue in full force and effect.

ADOPTED this 14th day of March, 1960.

(1) Police personnel assigned to two -wheel motorcycles receive additional $12.00 biweekly.
Police personnel assigned to Det. Bureau receive following addtl. biweekly compensation:
Police Captain $16.80; Police Sergeant $14.40; Police Patrolman and Policewoman $12.00.
(2) Paid $15.00 monthly for attendance at two monthly drills and emergency,calls not in
excess of three hours each. Calls in excess of three hours each paid at $1.10 /hr.
(3) Off -duty employees only. •
(4) Limited to Police and Fire personnel assigned to work as policemen or firemen during
their off -duty hours for private employers.
(5) Limited to Police and Lifeguard personnel occupying permanent positions.

of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution Noe 5190 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 14th day of March , 19 60 , by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Atkinson, Higbie, Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
