NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF.
3 AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO OPERATING AGREEMENT WITH
RESPECT TO THE CORONA DEL.MAR STATE AND CITY

6 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
7 the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement dated August 22,
g 1960, entitled "AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO OPERATING AGREEMENT between the
9 STATE OF CALIFORNIA, Acting by and through Its Department of Natur
10 Resources, Division of Beaches and Parks and the CITY OF NEWPORT
ill BEACH0. to which is attached a certified copy of Resolution No.
12 5302, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Newport
13 Beach requesting certain property acquired by the State Park Com-
14� mission of the State of California be included within the State
15 and City Beach Park at Corona del Mar; and
16 WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
171 conditions of-said agreement and found them to be reasonable and
lg� equitable and in the interests of the City;
lg NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement be
201 approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
21 directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Be
