2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING.A MAP SHOWING A PORTION..
• 3 OF A CERTAIN STREET -KNOWN AS LANCASTER STREET
WHICH IS PROPOSED TO-BE VACATED, CLOSED UP AND
4 ABANDONED

6 WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
7 has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
8 certain map entitled "Abandonment of a Portion of Lancaster
9 Street, Cedar Street to Alley East, in Tract 77281, Drawing No,
10 L -3102, dated 5- 18 -61, showing a portion of said Lancaster Street
11 in the City of Newport Beach which the City is considering
12 vacating, closing up and abandoning and which portion is more
13 particularly described as follows:
14 All that certain land situated in the State of
California, County of Orange, described as
15 follows:

All that portion of that certain road delineated
IT RESOLVED that said map ;be and is
as Lancaster Street on a map of Tract No. 772,

recorded in Book 23, pages 5 to 7, inclusive, of
City Clerk is ordered and
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,

California, described as follows:

Beginning at the most Northerly corner of Lot 15
in Block 3 of said Tract No. 772; thence North -
20
easterly along the Northeasterly prolongation of
of said-portion of said street.
the Northwesterly line of said Lot 15 to an

intersection with the center line of said Lan-

caster Street; thence Southeasterly along-said

center line to the Northeasterly prolongation
of the Southeasterly line of said Lot 15; thence

Southwesterly along said Northeasterly prolonga.
Lion to the most Easterly corner of said Lot 15;

of said Lot 15 to the point of beginning.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE
IT RESOLVED that said map ;be and is

hereby approved and adopted,
and.the
City Clerk is ordered and

directed to file the same in
the
proceedings for the abandonment
