2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE CON-
3 STRUCTION OF BALBOA PIER PARK ADDITION

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of the construction of Balboa Pier Park Addition in the
7 City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans. and specifica-
8 Lions heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 4th day of
9 January, 1962, and publicly opened and declared; and
10I WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
111 therefor is B. C. Grow.
12 NOU2 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of B. C. Gro,
13I in the amount of $20,391 be accepted and that the contract for the
141 construction work be awarded to said bidder.
151 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
16 1 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
17 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
18 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
19 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
20 ADOPTED this 8th day f January, 1962.
