2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMEND -
3 DENT NO. 5 TO OPERATING AGREEMENT WITH RESPECT TO
THE CORONA DEL MAR STATE AND CITY BEACH PARK

5 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
6 the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement entitled tOAMENDMENT
7 NO. 5 TO THE OPERATING AGREEMENT DATED AUGUST 19, 194981, amending
8 the operating agreement dated August 19,, 1949, between the State of
9 California and City relating to certain property known as the
10 Corona del Mar State and City Beach Park to include therein all that
11 certain real property acquired by the State situated in the City of
12 Newport Beach, Orange County, State of California, described as
13 follows:
14 PARCEL 1: Block 99C ". tract No. 673 in the City of
Newport Beach, Orange County State of California
15 as per map recorded in Book i0, pages 17 and 1S of
Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the County
16 Recorder of said County.
17 PARCEL 2: All of Lots 9 and-10 in Block A -35, all
o`�ots 9 and 10 in Block A »36 and that portion of
18 Lot..8 in Block A-�-36 lying northwesterly and lying
parallel to the :northwesterly line of Iris Avenue,
19 formerly 35th Avenue and distant 80 feet south
easterly therefrom of "Corona Del Mar" as shown on
20 a map recorded in Book.3, pages 41 and 42, Miscel»
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;
21 and
22 WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
23 conditions of said agreement and found them to be reasonable and
24 equitable and in the interests of the City;
25 NOW$ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement be
26 approved, and the Mayor and City Cleric are hereby authorized and di,
• 27 rected to execute the same on behalf of the City of.Newport Beach.
