2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING A.Nd-PARKING AREA

4 WHEREAS, Section 3272 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
5 provides that the City Council may by resolution establish no
6 parking areas and, when appropriate signs or markings are in place,
7 no person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle in the no parking
g area so established; and
9 WHEREAS, the area of Marine Avenue on both sides of the
10 street between Bayside Drive and East Coast Highway is an area
11 where parking should be prohibited in order to facilitate the
12 flow of traffic and eliminate traffic hazards;
13 NOW$ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that both sides of Marine
14 Avenue between Bayside Drive and East Coast Highway are hereby
15 designated as a no parking area.
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city traffic engineer is
17 authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mark said area to
18 indicate parking is prohibited.
19 ADOPTED this 26th day of %November ), 1962.
