2 A RESOLUTION OF TIC CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NZWORT BEACH CHANGING THE NTAflM4 Or ACACIA STREET
3 TO CA%IPUS DRIVE

51 Mf:181"AS, the Planning Commission of the City has recom-
6 mended to the City Council the changing of the name of Acacia Street
71 in the City of Newport Beach; and
81 G12RZAS, Section 34091.1 of the Government Code author -
9, izes the legislative body to change the name of any city street by
10 adoption of a resolution; and
11 WMEAS, after consideration of said recommendation, it
12 appears that it would be in the interests of the City and canvenien8
13 to the public to change the name of Acacia Street as hereinafter se8
14 forth;
15 NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
16 the City of Newport Beach that the name of the portion of Acacia
17 Street in the City of Newport Beach lying between Palisades Road
18 and MacArthur Boulevard, as shown on City of Newport Beach Planning
19 Department Drawing No. L-1134, designated "Street Name Change
20 Acacia St. to Campus Dre.B4, a copy of which is attached hereto,
21 marked Exhibit "A ". and by this reference incorporated herein and
22 made a part hereof, be changed to Campus Drive.
23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to
24 forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of Super -
25 visors of Orange County in accordance with the provisions of
26 Section 34092 of the Government Code.
27 ADOPTED this 9th day of June, 1964.
