6i1 The City Council of the City of Newport Beach, pursuant
7j1 to the provisions of the 'public Service Easements Vacation Law"
81,1 and all amendments thereto, being Sections 5043C, et seq., o£ the

91 Government Code of the State of California, does hereby resolve anc,
10 declare as follows:
11 SECTION 1. The public interest and convenience require,
121 and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Newport
13 Beach to order, the vacation of certain wal'fcway and public utility
14 easements described as follows:
1511 Easement No. I
16 An easement 6 feet in width to the Zity of Newport
Beach, for walkway and public utility purposes,
17 over the easterly 3 feet of :mot 56, Tract 4705, and
over the westerly 3 feet of Lot 57, Tract 4705, in
18 said City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State
of California, as shoran on a map recorded in Book
19 186, pages 31 through 35 inclusive of Liscellaneous
ivaos in the office of the County zlecoxder of said
20 County.
21 Said easement to be vacated is shown on a certain map
22 entitled °06' walkway & public utility easement to be vacated, lots
23 56 & 57 Tract No. 470511, being City of Newport Beach 2ublic Works
24 Department Drawing No. R /J;3 ^5047 -L, dated 9- 21 -64, a copy of which is
25 marked Exhibit 'A" and attached hereto and by this reference made a
26 part hereof, and which shall be kept on file in the office of the
27 City Clerk as a part of this resolution.
28 Easement No. 2
29, Fn easement for walkway purposes, 10 feet in width,
over the northerly and easterly 10 feet of rot 54,
30 Tract 4892, in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, as shown on a map
31 recorded in Book 180, pages 24, 25, and 26 of
miscellaneous Haps in the office of the County
32 Recorder of said County.

Said easement to be vacated is shown on a certain map

being City of Newport Beach Public Works Department Drawing No.
R /W- 5048 -L, dated. 9- 21 -64, a copy of which is marked Exhibit
and attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, and
which shall be kept on file in the office of the City Clerk as a
part of this resolution.
Easement No. 3
A'i- Yalkway Easement, 6 feet in width, over the southerly
and easterly 6 feet of Tot 46, Tract 4893, in the City
of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
as shown on a map recorded in Book 180, Pages 20 through
23 inclusive of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of said County.
Said easement to be vacated is shown on a certain mats
entitled B06` walkway easement to be vacated, Tot 46 Tract No. 4893L1,
being City of Newport Beach Public Works }department Drawing No.
R/W- 5049 -3., dated 9- 21 -64, a copy of which is marked Exhibit "C"
11 and attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, and
which shall be kept on file in the office of the City Clerk as a
part of this resolution.
Easement No. 4
An easement for walkway and public utility purposes,
6 feet in width, over the southeasterly 6 feet of
Tot 662 tract 5018, in the City of Newport Beach,
County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a
map recorded in Book 186, Pages 26 through 30,
inclusive, of Miscellaneous Naps in the office of
the County Recorder of said County.
Said easement to be vacated is shown on a certain map
entitled 9 16' walkway & public utility easement to be vacated, Tot
66 tract No. 5018 ", being City of Newport Beach Public Works
Department Drawing No. R/ -U- 5050 -T, dated 9- 21 -64, a copy of which
is marked Exhibit 279" and attached hereto and by this reference
made a part hereof, and which shall be kept on file in the office
of the City Clerk as a part of this resolution.
SECTION 2, the proposed vacation of the easement des

SECTION 3. The proceedings for the vacation of said

easements are taken pursuant to, and the City Council of the City
10
of Newport Beach hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of,
11
the 'Public Service Easements Vacation Law" and all amendments
12
thereto, being Sections 50430 to 50445, inclusive, of the Govern -
13
ment Code of the State of California.

SECTION 4. The Public works Director of the City of
15
Newport Beach shall cause to be conspicuously posted along the
16
lines of said easements proposed to be vacated, not more than 300
17
feet apart and not less than three in all, notices of the vacation
18
of said easements. The notices shall state the passage of this
19
resolution of intention and the time and place of the hearing
20
before the City Council of all persons interested in or objecting
21
to the proposed vacation. Said notices shall be posted at least
22
ten days before the date of said hearing.

SECTION 5. Notice is hereby given that the City Council
24
of the City of Newport Beach does hereby fix Monday, the 14th day
25
of December, 1964, at the hour of 7 :30 o'clock P. M. on said day,
26
in the Council Chamber located in the City Mall of the City of
27
Newport Beach at 3300 Newport Boulevard, Newport Beach, California,
28
as the time and ;dace for hearing all persons interested in or
29
objecting to the proposed vacation of said easements.

SECTION 6. p notice of the hearing hereinbefore set,

giving the date, time and place of said hearing, shall be published

by the City Clerk in the official newspaper of the City once each

meek for at least two successive weeks prior to said hearing.
ADOPTED this 9th day of November, 1964.
