5 ti^MRFAS, Section 3251 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
6J provides that whenever an ordinance or resolution designates a
7 street or portion thereof as a through street, or an intersection
8 at which vehicles are required to stop at one or more entrances
9 thereto, the city traffic engineer shall erect stop signs and every
10 driver of vehicles shall stop at such through street or intersec-
11 tion; and
12 W IZ _S, certain streets should be designated as through
13 streets and certain intersections should be designated as inter -
14 sections where vehicles are required to stop at one or more entrance
15 thereto as hereinafter provided;
16 N0E4, THEREFM: BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
17 City of Newport 3each that the following streets or portions thereof
18 are hereby designated as through streets:
19 1. jamboree Road from Pacific Coast Highway to
20 Palisades Road.
21 2. Eastbluff Drive from Jamboree Road to Jamboree
;toad.
22 3. Vista del Oro from Eastbluff Drive to Vista del
23 Sol.
24 4. VLar Vista Drive from Eastbluff Drive to Vista del
Oro.

26 BE IT FURIM '7i RESOLVED that the following intersections
27 are hereby designated as intersections where vehicles are required t
28 stop at one or more entrances thereto:
29 1. The intersection of Bison Avenue at Alta Vista
Drive, at each entrance to Alta Vista Drive.

2. The intersection of Prospect Street at Canal
31 Street, at the entrance for north bound traffic
only.
