2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING FEES FOR THE PAMCING
3 OF VEHICLES AT THE CORONA DEL MAR STATE AND CITY
4 BEACH PARR
51 AREAS, the City of Newport Beach is operating facilitie
6 for the parking of vehicles at the Corona del Mar State and City
7 Beach Park; and
8 WHERLAS, parking fees for the use of such facilities were
9 established by Resolutions Nos. 5193 and 5997; and
10 VJI -WEAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11 has determined that it is necessary to increase some of the parking
12 fees for the use of said parking facilities;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
14 1. That for the calendar year 1965 and for each succes-
15 sive calendar year, annual vehicle passes for the use of parking
16 facilities at the Corona del Mar State and City Beach Para. are
17 hereby established. That the cost of each such pass for each
18 calendar year stall be in the amount of $7.50 per vehicle. That
19 said passes shall be valid only when such parking facilities are
20 in operation and when parking space is available therein, and shall
21 not give any priority for parking purposes. That said passes shall
22 be sold only in the Finance Department in the Newport Beach City
23 Hall and only during regular City Tall office hours.
24 2. For the use of parking facilities at the Corona del
25 Mar State and City Beach Park, daily parking fees of 75¢ and $1.50
26 per vehicle and $3.00 per bus are hereby established. The days
27 and hours each day that such parking facilities are to be in opera-
28 tion and the days and hours each day that such fees as herein
29 designated are to be charged shall be established by the City Man -
30 ager in such a manner as will best serve the public use of said
31 park and parking facilities and which will best serve to avoid
32 traffic congestion and the hazards attendant therein. The City

Manager shall prepare a schedule of such days and hours, which said
schedule and any revisions thereof shall be filed with the City Cle:
3, Resolutions Nos. 5193 and 5997 are hereby rescinded
land repealed.
