RESOLUTION N0. 6198
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporation,
has executed and delivered to the City of Newport Beach a Grant of
Easement by which it grants to the City an easement for street and
highway purposes over all that certain land situated in the City
of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows:
Parcel 1
That portion of block 94 of Irvine's Subdivision
as per map recorded in book 1, page 88 of Miscel-
laneous Record Maps in the office of the county
recorder of said county described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerlines
of Jamboree Road (formerly Marine Avenue) and Pacific
Coast Highway, 100 feet wide as said intersection is
shown on a map of Tract No. 5130 recorded in book
190, pages 43 and 44.of Miscellaneous Maps; thence
South 110 27' 25" West 211.08 feet along said.center-
line of Jamboree Road; thence leaving said centerline
North 780 32' 35" West 44.00 feet to the northerly
terminus of a non - tangent curve concave easterly
having a radius of 459.00 feet, a radial line to
said northerly terminus bears North 780 32' 35"
West; thence southerly 51.11 feet along said curve
through an angle of 6 °i22' 47" to a point on the
generally westerly right of way line of said
Jamboree Road as shown on a map of Tract No. 1700
recorded in book 52, pages 7 and 8 of Miscellaneous
Ma s and as established in a deed recorded in book
1746, page 152 of Official Records, a radial line
to said point bears North 84° 55' 22" West, said
point being the true point of beginning; thence
along said generally westerly right of way line -
South 2° 55 35" East 60.18 feet to the beginning
of a curve concave easterly having a radius of 440.00
feet; southerly 33.00 feet along said curve through
an angle of 40 17' 50 "; South 82° 46' 35" West 4.76
feet to a point on said non - tangent curve concave
easterly having a radius of 459.00 feet, a radial
line to said point bears South 83° 22' 33" West;
thence leaving said generally westerly right of
way line northerly 93.74 feet along said curve
through an angle of 110 42' 05" to the true point
of beginning,

laneous Record Maps in the office of the county
recorder of said county described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the center-
line of Bayside Drive 60 feet wide, as des-
cribed in a deed to the County of Orange recorded
June 11, 1936 in book 830, Page 217 of Official
Records with the centerline of Jamboree Road
• (formerly Marine Avenue) as described in said
deed and as said intersection is shown on a map
of Tract No. 1700 recorded in book 52, pages o
7 and 8 of Miscellaneous Maps; thence North 85
44' 35" West 177.56 feet along said centerline
of Bayside Drive; thence leaving said centerline
North 4° 15' 25" East 30.00 feet to a point on
the northerly right of way line of said Bayside
Drive, said point being the beginning of a non -
tangent curve concave northwesterly having a radius
of 39.28 feet, a radial line to said point bears
South 4° 15' 25" West and also being the true point
of beginning; thence easterly, northerly and north-
westerly 100.35 feet along said curve through an
angle of 146° 22' 30" to a point on the southwesterly
right of way line of said Jamboree Road as shown
on a map of said Tract No. 1700 and as established
in a deed recorded in book 1746, page 152 of
Official Records; thence North 42° 07' 05" West
20.47 feet along said southwesterly right of way
line to a point of cusp; thence leaving said
southwesterly right of way line South 46° 03' 27"
East 20.74 feet to the beginning of a curve con-
cave northwesterly having a radius of 30.00 feet;
thence southerly, southwesterly and westerly 73.47
feet along said curve through an angle of 1400 18'
52 "; thence North 850 44' 35" West 1418.59 feet
along a line parallel with and distant northerly
47.00 feet from said centerline of Bayside Drive;
thence South 4° 15' 25" West 17.00 feet to said
northerly right of way line of Bayside Drive;
thence South 85° 44' 35" East 1417.09 feet along
said northerly right of way line to the true
point of beginning.
SUBJECT TO easements and rights of way of record or
apparent;
and
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said Grant of Easement for such purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Grant of Ease-
ment is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and
directed to execute and attach thereto a certificate of accept-
ance and consent to its recording and to record said document in
the County Recorder's office, together with The Irvine Company
drawing entitled "Prop. Westerly R/W Line of Jamboree Road,
Between Bayside Drive and Pacific Coast Highway in the City of

Newport Beach ", dated 4/28/65, designated R /W- 5060 -L, showing the
location of said easement.
ADOPTED this 26th day of July 1965.
