RESOLUTION NO. 6296
A USOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEKTORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT
WTEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporation,
has executed and delivered to the City of Newport Beach a Grant of
Easement for street and highway purposes over all that certain land
situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
and
That portion of Block 94 of Irvine's Subdivision as per
map recorded in Book 1, page 88 of Kiscellaneous lieco-d
Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County
as described in Resolution No. 4745 of the City of Newport
Beach, recorded February 19, 1958, in Book 4201, page 372
of Official Records of said County, lying easterly of the
following described line:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Jamboree
Road (formerly Marine Avenue) and Pacific Coast Highway,
100 feet wide, as said intersection is shown on a map of
Tract No. 5130 recorded in Book 190, pages 43 and 44. of
Miscellaneous Maps; thence North 78° 32' 3599 Vest 67.07
feet along said centerline of Pacific Coast Highway, thence
leaving said centerline South 2° 55' 3549 East 51.62 feet
to the southerly right of way line of Pacific Coast High-
way; thence North 780 32' 35" West 9.74 feet along said
southerly right of way line to the tare point of beginning;
thence South 33 °.3299 3549 East 28.28 feet; thence South
110 27' 25" West 141.08.feet to the beginning of a curve
concave easterly having a radius of 459.00 feet; thence
southerly 51.11 feet along said curve through an angle of
6° 22'47' to a point on the westerly line of the land
described in said Resolution No, 4745, a radial line to
said joint bears North 840 55' 2291 West; thence South
20 55 3519 East 60.18 feet along said westerly line to
the most southerly corner of the land described in said
Resolution No. 4745.
SUBJECT TO easements and rights of way of record or
apparent;
TJHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said Grant of Easement for such purposes;
NOGG`, Tt S 2F'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Grant of
is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and directed
to execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and con-
sent to its recording.and to record said document in the County
Recorder's office.
