• 4 �MERLAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
5 consisting of Balboa ocean pier pipe railing in the City of New -
6 port Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifications here -
7 tofore adopted, bids were received on the 9th day of Karch, 1966,
8 and publicly opened and declared; and
9 iRTERE°AS, two identical low bids were received in the
10 amount of $3,487.40 from Gebbie Construction Company and L. A.
1111 fencing Company; and
12 MrIEs SAS, the City Council has determined -that the con -
13 tract should be awarded to Los Angeles Fencing Co.
14 NOG, 1'i-� �:.FOR2, BE IT a23SOLVEM that the Mayor and City
15 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
16 accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behal':
17 of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
18 to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder,
