A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
2 NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT-OF EASEMENT
311 WHEREAS, the M. H. Sherman Company, a corporation, has
4
executed and delivered to the City of Newport Beach a Grant of
5
Easement, which grants to the City an easement for alley and
6
public utility purposes in, under, along and over that certain
7
real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of
8
Orange, State of California, described as follows:

That portion of Lots 12 and 14 in Block 632 of the Corona
del Mar Tract per map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42
10
of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder
of said county described as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the southeasterly line of
12
Da lia Avenue (formerly 31st Avenue) as shown on the map
of said Corona del Mar Tract with a line which is parallel
13
with and southwesterly 36.00 feet from the northeasterly
line of the 14' alley shown in Block D on the map of Tract
14
No. 323 recorded in Book 14, pages 40 and 41 of said Miscel-
laneous Maps, thence S 390 38' W 14.00 feet along said
15
southeasterly line of Dahlia Avenue; thence parallel with
said northeasterly line of the 14' alley S 50 22' E 98.00
16
feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave westerly
and having a -radius of 20 feet; thence southerly 31.42
17
feet along said curve through a central angle of 90° 00' 00"
to a point of cusp with the southeasterly line of said Lot
is
12; thence along said southeasterly line N 390 38' E 16.23
feet to the westerly line of the land described in Parcel 2

in the deed to the City of Newport Beach recorded in Book
1360, page 23 of Official Records in the office of said

County Recorder; thence N 17° 30' 56" W 32.77 feet along
said westerly line and along the westerly line of the land
21
described in Parcel 1 in said deed to said line parallel
with and southwesterly 36.00 feet from the northeasterly
22
line of said 14 foot alley; thence N 500 22' 11 90.50 feet
along said parallel line to the point of beginning;

and

WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
25
said Grant of Easement for such purposes;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Grant of Ease -
27
went is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and dir-
28
ected to execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance
29
and consent to its recording and to record said document in the
30
County Recorder's office.

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records of the
City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing
Resolution No. 6324 was duly and regularly
adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 28th day of March
1966 , by the following vote, to wit:
