RESOLUTION NO. 6336
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI;, OF THE CITY OF
NEUPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
ARTERIAL HIGBWAY FINANCING PROGRAM PrROJECJC
ADMINISTRATION AGE MIENT WITH THE COUNTY OF
ORANGE FOR THE I1QR0VEV2NT OF JAKBOREE ROAD
BETJEEN F0RD ROAD AND PALISADES ROAD
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No, 6260
requested the County of Orange to allocate funds to aid the City
of Newport Beach during fiscal year 1966 -1967 in the improvement
of Jamboree Road between Ford Road and Palisades Road; and
TREAS, by said resolution the City agreed that its
share of.the cost of improvements and rights of way would be
available for the fiscal year 1966 -1967; and
TR- IEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach a certain Arterial Highway Financing
Program Project Administration Agreement between the City of New-
port Beach and the County of Orange for the improvement of Jambor
Road between Ford Road and Palisades Road, which said agreement
has been reviewed and found to be fair and equitable and it is in
the interest of the City to execute the same;
NOW TI- ERZFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said agreement be approved and
that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to exe-
cute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
