RESOLUTION N0. 6368

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NUTPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE

CONSTRUCTION OF THE EL.PASEO DRIVE - IRVINE
TERRACE PARK STORM DRAIN (CONTRACT NO..1033)

WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
6
consisting of the construction of the El Paseo Drive m Irvine
7
Terrace Park Storrs Drain in the City of Newport Beach, in accor-
8
dance with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids
9
were received on the 17th day of May, 1966, and publicly opened
10
and declared; and

11HEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12
therefor is Underground Conductors Corporation;
13
NOW, THEBREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Under -
14
ground Conductors Corporation in the amount of $104,268.15 be
15
accepted and that the contract for the construction work be awarded
16
to said bidder, subject to the issuance by the State Division of
17
Highways of an encroachment permit for the construction of that
18
portion of the storm drain crossing Pacific Coast Highway.
19
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
20
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
21
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
22
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
23
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.

ADOPTED this 23rd day of May, 1966.
