2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
3 OF ORT BEACH LWYARDING A CONTMCT FOR THE
PUBLICATION OF LEGLI, NOTICES AND OTHER MAT=
4 AND. DESIGNATING AN OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER FOR
PUBLIrATICN OF NOTICES

6 TIRE EAS, Section 2s19 of the City Charter provides that
7 the City Council shall publish a notice inviting bids and contract
8 for the publication of legal notices and other matter required to
9 be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City
10 during the ensuing fiscal year; and
11 IdE£MS, the City Council has published such notice and
12 bids have been received in accordance therewith; and
13 GdER..AS, the City Council has analyzed said bids and
14 determined to make the award as hereinafter provided;
15 NOW2 TFZPaFORE; BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of
16 Newnort Harbor Ensign be accepted and that the
17 Mayor and City Clerk be and hereby are authorized and directed to
18 execute a contract in accordance with this award for the fiscal vex
19 beginning July 1, 1966.
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Newport Harbor Ensign
21 is hereby designated the official news -
22 paper for the publication of legal notices and other matter requir
23 to be published for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1966.
24 ADOPTED this 27th day of June, 1966.

adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
