A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWP0RT BEACH APPOIPTTING A CITY-CLERK AND.FIXINO
HER SALARY
UTMEAS, the office of City Clerk is vacant and it is
necessary to make an appointment to fill that position; and
11HEREAS, the City Council has the power and duty to
make such appointment and fix the salary of the City Clerk;
NOT., THEREFORE, BE IT RES0LVED that Laura Lagios is
hereby appointed City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach effective]
January 23, , 1967, at the salary of $9,000 per
fiscal year, payable in monthly, semimonthly, or biweekly install-
ments as is most convenient in the ordinary course of the prep-
aration of the City's payroll.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of January, 1967.
