2) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NM?PORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES
3 ON A PORTION OF- BALBOA BOULEVARD

61 Y,WREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal
6iCode provides that when authorized signs are in place giving notice
I
7Ithereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle between
8 Ithe hours of eight a.m. and six p.m. of any day for a period of
9 time longer than one hour upon such streets or portions thereof as
10 the City Council shall designate by resolution; and
11 Tin- 1Ee$,AS2 it is necessary to limit the parking of vehicles
12 as hereinafter provided;
13 NOi7, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the parking of vehicl
14 between the hours of eight a.m. and six p.m. be limited to one hour
15 every day on the north side of Balboa Boulevard from Island Avenue
16 to 6th Street,
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is author -
181ized and directed to cause signs to be posted on such street
19 giving notice of such parking restriction.
20 ADOPTED this 13th day of March, 1967.

duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 13th day of March 1967,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Marshall, Gruber, Cook, Forgit,
Shelton
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Parsons
