1 RESOLUTION NO. 6542
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE 9)MCUTION OF.AN
3 AGREEMENT WITH NEWPORT -MESA UNIFIED.SCHOOL
DISTRICT.FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF 16TH STREET
4 BETWEEN.IRVINE AVENUE AND DOVER DRIVE
5 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach and Newport -Mesa
6 Unified School District contemplate doing certain improvement work
7 on 16th Street between Irvine Avenue and Dover Drive; and
8 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
9 the City of Newport Beach an agreement between the City and Newpori
10 Mesa Unified School District providing for such work, with the
11 cost thereof to be shared by the City and District in the manner
12 set out therein; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
14 conditions of said agreement and found them to be fair and equitab:
15 and determined it to be in the interests of the City and the
16 improvements to be necessary;
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement is
18 approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed
19 to execute the same on behalf of'the City of Newport Beach.
20 ADOPTED this 27th day of March, 1967.
