2� A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING,A CONTRACT FOt THE, FISCAL
31 YEAR 1966 -67 SEAL COAT PROGRAM (CONTRACT NO. 1118)

51 1 WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
61 consisting of the fiscal year 1966 -67 seal coat program in the
7 City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifi-
8 cations heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 19th day of
9 June, 1967, and publicly opened and declared; and
10 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
11 therefor is the Griffith Company;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of the
13 Griffith Company in the amount of $9,300.00 be accepted and that
14 the contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
16 are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract Sin
17 accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
18I of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
19 to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
20 ADOPTED this 26th day of June 1967.

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6593 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 26th day of June , 1967,
by the following vote, to wit:
