2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWORT BEACH DESIGNATING THROUGH STREETS

41i i7HEREAS, Section 12.35.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal
5i Code provides that whenever an ordinance or resolution designates
I
6i a street or portion thereof as a through street the City Traffic
71 Engineer shall erect stop signs on each and every street inter-
8 secting such through street or portion thereof so designated and
9 every driver of a vehicle shall stop at such through street as
101 required by the California Vehicle Code; and
111 TIM r S, the following described streets or portions
121 thereof, which are private roads in the Newport Center area of the
13 City, should be designated as through streets where vehicles are
14 required to stop; and
15 b°H�.'aREAS, pursuant to the authority of Section 21107.5 of
16 the California Vehicle Code, the City Council adopted Resolution
17 No. 663 on AuMgt 28 , 1967, finding and declaring that
18 said private roads shall be subject to the traffic regulations
19 contained in the California Vehicle Code;
2011 1=43, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
211City of Newport Beach that the following streets or portions t
22 are hereby designated as through streets:
25, 1. Newport Center Drive East.
241j 2. Newport Center Drive Ilest,
251 3, Newport Center Drive from East Coast Highway to
26 Newport Center Drive West.
4. San Joaquin Hills Road from Jamboree Road to
271 'MacArthur Boulevard.
29 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the foregoing designation of
30 through streets shall continue to be applicable to said streets or
31 portions thereof at and after such time as the City formally accepts

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6632 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 28th day of August , 1967,
by the following vote, to wit:
