2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
3 ENTRY AGREEMENT WITH. THE IRVINE COMPANY

5 IfflEREAS, The Irvine Company is the owner of certain
6 real property adjacent to Jamboree Road, lying between Palisades
7 Road and Ford Road /Eastbluff Drive and in Big Canyon westerly of
8 Jamboree Road, upon which premises the City desires to enter for
9 the purpose of grading slope banks, obtaining borrow material,
10 disposing of excess material, and constructing and maintaining
11 culverts; and
12 &7HEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
13 an Entry Agreement under which The Irvine Company grants to the
14 City the right to enter upon said premises for the purposes
15 specified; and
16 u7HEREAS,the City Council has considered the terms and
17 conditions of the agreement and found them to be fair and
18 equitable;
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Entry Agreement
20 is approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and dir-
21 ected to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
22 ADOPTED this 9th day of October , 1967.
