RESOLUTION N0. 6743
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ORDERING THE CANVASS OF THE MODEN
ANNEXATION ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE 21ST DAY
OF MAY, 1968, TO BE MADE BY THE CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, a special municipal election will be held
and conducted in the City of Newport Beach on Tuesday, the 21st
day of May, 1968, pertaining to the annexation of Moden Annex-
ation No. 59 to the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said city desires the
canvass of said election to be made by the City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 22932.5 of the Elec-
tions Code of the State of California, the canvass of the special
municipal election to be held in the City of Newport Beach on
Tuesday, the 21st day of May, 1968, is hereby ordered to be made
by the City Clerk.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall, prior to the 28th
day of May, 1968, complete the canvass of the special municipal
election to be held in said city on the 21st day of May, 1968,
and shall certify the results to the City Council prior to the
28th day of May, 1968.
ADOPTED this 8th day of April , 1968.

I, LAURA LAGIOS, City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach, California,
do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6743 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 8th day of April , 1968,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Parsons, Marshall, Gruber, Cook,
Forgit, Shelton
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
