1 RESOLUTION NO. 6832
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT.FOR THE
3 SEAL COAT TROGRAM,,1968 -69 PART.I (FOG SEAL)s,
C -1169

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
6 work consisting of the seal coat program, 1968 -69, Part I (Fog
7 Seal), in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the
8 plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received
9 on the 12th day of July, 1968, and publicly opened and declared;
10 and
11 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
i2 therefor is C. L. Brooks Construction Company;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of C. L.
14 Brooks Construction Company for the work in the amount of
15 $11,590.00 be accepted and that the contract for the construction
16 work be awarded to said bidder.
1711 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
18 are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
19 accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on be-
20 half of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be
21 directed to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
