RESOLUTION N0. 6845
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH DESIGNATING INTERSECTIONS AT WHICH
VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED TO STOP AND DIRECTING THE
TRAFFIC ENGINEER TO ERECT NECESSARY STOP SIGNS
WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that whenever an ordinance or resolution
designates and describes an intersection at which vehicles are
required to stop at one or more entrances thereto, the City Traffic
1 Engineer shall erect stop signs at those entrances of such
intersection where a stop is required and every driver of a vehicle
shall stop at such intersection; and
WHEREAS, certain intersections should be designated as
intersections where vehicles are required to stop at one or more
entrances thereto as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the;City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the following described location
is hereby designated as an intersection at which vehicles are
required to stop, and the City Traffic Engineer is hereby directed
to erect and maintain a stop sign at said location:
Harbor View Drive at its entrance to Marguerite Avenue
ADOPTED this 19 day of August , 1968.

duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 19th day of August 1968,
by the following vote, to wit:
