RESOLUTION NO. 6853
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH EXTENDING THE AGREEMENT WITH THE
NEWPORT HARBOR LAWN - BOWLING ASSOCIATION...
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach and the Newport
Harbor Lawn Bowling Association are parties to an agreement for
the maintenance of the lawn bowling green at 15th Street and
Balboa Boulevard at the cost to the City of $75.00 per month,
which agreement expired on June 30, 1968; and
WHEREAS, both parties wish to extend the agreement as
hereinafter set forth under the same terms and conditions as the
existing agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
hereby extends the agreement with the Newport Harbor Lawn Bowling
Association for an indefinite term from year to year commencing
July 1, 1968, but in no event for a term greater than five years
from said commencement date, subject to the right of either party
to terminate said agreement upon 30 days' written notice.

NEWPORT HARBOR LAWN BOWLING ASSOCIATION hereby consents
to the extension of the agreement described in this resolution and
agrees to perform and be bound by all of the terms and conditions
of said agreement and this resolution.
