A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY

OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
SHORT STREET BULY41EAD AND SHORT STREET AND
320 STREET TIDAL STRUCTURES
Contract No. 1224

WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with the Short Street bulkhead and Short Street
and 32nd Street tidal structures , in accordance
with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were
received on the 17th day of June 19 69 ,
and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is PENHALL MARINE„ INC. ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of PENHALL MARINE, INC.
for the work in the amount of $ 15,709.98
be accepted, and that the contract for the described work be
awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of June , 19 69 .
