RESOLUTION N0. 7 0 4 7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH EXPRESSING THE INTENT OF THE
CITY COUNCIL TO LEASE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY
LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF BROOKHURST
AND ADAMS IN HUNTINGTON BEACH, AND SETTING A
PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER PROPOSALS FOR
LEASING SAID PROPERTY .
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach is the owner in
fee of that certain parcel of real property located at the
southeast corner of Adams and Brookhurst Streets in the City of
Huntington Beach, containing approximately 1.93 acres; and
WHEREAS, the above described property is presently
unimproved and yields only a nominal amount of revenue for the
City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that said
property constitutes surplus property to the City of Newport
Beach;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
hereby declares its intention to offer the above described
property for lease for a term of twenty -five years;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing will be
held in the Council Chambers, 3300 Newport Boulevard, Newport
Beach, California, on Monday, September 22, 1969, at 7 :30 p.m.,
therein to consider all offers to lease and to award a lease upon
terms and conditions satisfactory to the City.
ADOPTED this 28th day of July, 1969.
