A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
• CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT
FOR IRVINE AVENUE WIDENING FROM 15TH
STREET TO 16TH STREET, CONTRACT NO. 1262
AREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with the widening of Irvine Avenue from
15th Street to 16th Street, in accordance with the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the
2nd day of ,dune, 1970, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefor is SULLY MILLER CONTRACTING CO.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of SULLY MILLER
CONTRACTING CO, for the work in the amount of $119,896.00 be
accepted, and that the contract for the described work be
awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on
behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk
be directed to furnish an executed copy to the successful
bidder.
ADOPTED this 8th day of ,dune, 1970.
