A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
• CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH.FIXING THE SALARY
OF THE CITY MANAGER,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach has the power and duty to establish the salary of
the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 7005 established the
salary of the City Manager, beginning July 1, 1969;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective
July 1, 1970, Resolution No. 7005 be rescinded, and that
the salary of the City Manager, beginning July 1, 1970,
shall be $ 2g,000 per fiscal year, payable in
monthly, semimonthly, or biweekly installments as is
most convenient in the ordinary course of the prepara-
tion of the City's payroll.
