A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH COMMENDING THE HONORABLE
. WILLIAM H. HIRSTEIN FOR HIS OUTSTANDING PUBLIC
SERVICE AS A SUPERVISOR OF ORANGE COUNTY
WHEREAS, William H. Hirstein has completed sixteen
years of service as a member of the Orange County Board of
Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hirstein has provided the Board of
Supervisors with outstanding leadership during his service
as Chairman of the Board; and
WHEREAS, he played a leading role in establishing
Orange County as a Metropolitan Area and has done an excellent
job in representing the Board of Supervisors on welfare
matters;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH that the Council hereby commends
William H. Hirstein for his distinguished public service as a
member of the Board of Supervisors of Orange County.
