A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF
VEHICLES ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF 15TH STREET
AND MICHAEL PLACE.
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that when authorized signs are in

place giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or
park any vehicle between the hours of 8 :00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
of any day for a period of time longer than two hours upon
such streets or portions thereof as the City Council shall
designate by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of
vehicles as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the parking of
vehicles between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on
school days be limited to two (2) hours on the north side of
15th Street from Irvine Avenut to Michael Place and on the
east side of Michael Place starting at 15th Street and extending
approximately 250 feet to the northerly end of the cul -de -sac.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer
is authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mark said
area to indicate such parking limitation.
ADOPTED this 21st day of December, 1970.
