RESOLUTION NO. 7429
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF
VEHICLES ON A PORTION OF MICHAEL PLACE
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that when authorized signs are in
place giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or
park any vehicle between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
of any day for a period of time longer than two hours upon
such streets or portions thereof as the City Council shall
designate by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of
vehicles as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the parking of
vehicles between the hours of 8 :00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on
school days be limited to two (2) hours on the westerly side
of Michael Place from a point 50 feet north of 15th Street to
15th Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer
is authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mark said
area to indicate such parking limitation.
ADOPTED this 17th day of May, 1971.
